Founder Celia Crossley has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times and on CareerBuilder.com. And no wonder. She knows the ins and outs of human resources and career development like few others in the field. For more than 30 years, she has done career consulting, executive coaching, and team-building. But her special expertise lies in guiding individuals and organizations through periods of change. Wise, persuasive, and insightful, Celia uses the Birkman Method to clearly define the connection between motivations, behaviors, and workplace performance. And she shows her clients how to align all three in order to maximize potential.
Before starting her consulting practice in 1981, Celia was an Associate Consultant with The Hay Group, where she led workshops and seminars and provided outplacement counseling. Prior to that, she had held two corporate positions at Rax Restaurants: Manager of Compensation and Benefits, and Employee Relations Administrator. She holds B.A. in communications from The Ohio State University. Currently she facilitates two Columbus Chapters of the Women Presidents Organization and serves on the WPO International Board.
A firm believer in giving back, Celia has earned the YWCA Woman of Achievement Award in 1991, the “Service Above Self” award from the Upper Arlington Rotary in 1997, and the President’s Award recognizing community service bestowed by the Junior League of Columbus in 2000. She has been actively involved in the Upper Arlington Civil Service Commission, the Children’s Hunger Alliance Board, the YWCA, and the Upper Arlington Rotary Club.
