Molly is an Academy Certified Resume Writer (ACRW) who helps leaders and job seekers at all levels and in all industries to strategically sell their value on paper. Through research and interviews, she works with clients to create compelling job market tools. Her expertise is in writing branded content and designing visually appealing resumes that position candidates, generate interest and win interviews.
Molly’s own resume features leadership positions in large corporations, non-profit organizations and government. She has had her own business as a communications strategy consultant, serving clients up and down the organizational chart by developing and executing integrated communications plans to support and shape positive business outcomes.
Molly’s consulting services included content development, marketing and branding campaigns, media relations, speechwriting, corporate social responsibility programs, and event planning and scripting. She served as the chief development officer for a large non-profit behavioral health care organization, where she used her marketing communications expertise to drive quintuple growth in annual fundraising in just two years. Earlier in her career, she was the communications and policy advisor to an Iowa governor. There, she managed a multi-community initiative to increase inclusion and expand new Americans’ access to healthcare, education and other services.
Molly began her career in the magazine publishing industry. She has been editor-in-chief of Country Home and executive editor of Coastal Living. She received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Iowa State University.
