OPEN | Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

Job Overview

Position: Bookkeeper (Part-time)

Crosworks is looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper. Hours are flexible but expected to be about 10-15 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours as our organization grows.

Located in Worthington, Ohio, this part-time position will support Crosworks’ owner and operations manager in a variety of financial duties including managing accounts payables and receivables, billing clients, tracking key performance metrics, running monthly reports, and more.

Working in a small office requires everyone in the office to be self-motivated, driven and willing to do whatever it takes to help the office run smoothly and to ensure an exceptional client experience.

As bookkeeper, applicant must demonstrate reliability, be detail-oriented, organized and responsive. Experience using Quickbooks and exceptional communication are key.  A demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment is of the utmost importance for this role. 

Responsibilities Include 

  • Accurately record and verify day to day financial transactions using Quickbooks
  • Pay bills and invoice clients
  • Process payments
  • Run payroll
  • Work with accountant on any tax forms and reporting
  • Create monthly financial statements and report on key performance indicators

Qualifications

  • Proven bookkeeping experience; solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Hands-on experience with Quickbooks, spreadsheets and other standard office applications
  • Customer service orientation
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred

 

Salary: $20 an hour, negotiable based on experience

FILLED | OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job Overview

Crosworks is looking for an Operations Manager to work 25-35 hours per week. This flexible, hybrid position supports the Crosworks team and clients, handling a variety of operational duties from preparing for workshops and events to billing, scheduling, customer support, and more.

This position has one direct report, a part-time Office Assistant, who is responsible for variety of office administrative duties from preparing client files to filing, inventory, cleaning, etc.

As Operations Manager, it is critical that you be reliable, consistent and responsive. Exceptional communication and organization is key. We are seeking someone who is service-oriented, adaptable and believes that details matter. RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Client and Office Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all back-office functions at Crosworks, including but not limited to:

  • Manage the Office
    – Document and maintain training materials
    – Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable including invoice review, approval and processing
    – Run regular key performance metrics
    – Manage office assistant and interns
    – Troubleshoot and optimize processes
    – Audit and maintain policies and procedures and associated training materials
    – Maintain the employee handbook
    – Digitize assets
    – Point of contact for all office equipment
  • Support our Clients
    – Respond to client requests, schedule appointments, and help prepare for and follow up to sales calls
    – Prepare reports and portfolios for corporate and individual clients
    – Discuss Crosworks service offerings with confidence and clarity
  • Support our Team
    – Manage workshop event details and logistics
    – Assist CEO in researching solutions and leading new initiatives
    – Support all coaches with various projects and client communication, as needed
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

– High School diploma required
– College education in the areas of HR, Organizational Development or Business Operations preferred
– Exceptional verbal and written communication
– Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills
– Completion-oriented with a high attention to detail
– Independent with good judgment
– Curious and willing to investigate solutions
– Impermeable ability to keep information in confidence
– Friendly and professional in tandem
– Proficient in Quickbooks, Excel, Powerpoint and Word and ability to learn CRM, document saving and other systems

Salary: $15-$20 an hour
Hours: Flexible but typically 4 days/week, about 6-8 hours/day

Job Overview

We are looking for the right person to support our marketing initiatives with the goal of expanding brand awareness within targeted, relevant audiences. This position will support Crosworks owner and coaches through a variety of marketing initiatives from sourcing content and writing posts to sharing events and reviews and more. This part-time position, about 15-20 hours per week, offers flexibility with most hours Monday-Friday.

We are seeking someone who is service-oriented, adaptable and believes that details matter. A demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment is of the utmost importance for this role.

As a marketing assistant, it is critical that you grasp the mission and voice of Crosworks to convey our brand in relatable, accessible, effective and results-focused ways. 

Responsibilities
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence and explore new ways to reach and engage current and target clients
  • Create and maintain a quarterly content schedule
  • Manage content for various social channels including researching, interviewing, writing and sharing relevant articles 
  • Monitor, measure and report the effectiveness of marketing initiatives against success metrics such as click through rates, traffic, conversions and A/B testing results
  • Maintain and post our online events schedule
  • Lead SEO/Google Ad budget and execution
  • Lead all Crosworks online and offline marketing material 
  • Discuss Crosworks service offerings with confidence and clarity
  • Stay abreast of marketing techniques to recommend new marketing opportunities
Qualifications
  • High School diploma required
  • College education in the areas of Marketing, Communications, Business or Graphic Design preferred
  • 1+ years experience in marketing desired
  • Experience in website CMS, email marketing, CRM and Analytics
  • Knowledge of database marketing, targeting, and segmentation
  • Exceptional written and visual communication skills
  • Excellent organization, project and time management skills
  • Completion-oriented with a high attention to detail
