Scott is curious, thoughtful and supportive. He has spent most of the last thirty years in executive leadership roles and has held a steadfast commitment to employee engagement and success. Scott is certified in The Birkman Method™.
Previously, Scott used his skills in various business and marketing roles with national brands, including Lands End, American Girl, Highlights for Children and more. He has successfully managed P&Ls and strategic planning, and, most recently, Scott led marketing at Tansky Sawmill Toyota, a large, family-owned automotive dealership. In his position at Tansky, Scott developed an in-house digital marketing team and updated brand guidelines and messaging to reflect the organization’s values more closely. He also played a key role in developing long-term partnerships with many local organizations, such as the Columbus Clippers, NC4K and Flying Horse Farms.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Towson University and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Scott has a deep interest in global news and politics. He enjoys home renovation projects and is the proud “dad” of two dogs and a cat. He and his partner, Nate, enjoy traveling and frequently spend time on the East Coast with his family.
